Record Greetings
From any phone, dial *20, listen to the prompts.
Press 1, record auto attendant greeting
Press 2, record after hours greeting
Press 3, Playback auto attendant greeting
Press 4, Playback after hours greeting
These menus can also be accessed from the auto attendant, dialing in from outside.

Set and Record Office Closed Greeting
From any phone, dial *21, listen to the prompts.
Press 1, record office closed greeting
Press 2, Playback office closed greeting
Press 3, Set office closed to ON
Press 4, Set office closed to OFF
These menus can also be accessed from the auto attendant, dialing in from outside.

Voicemail
Red Light on the phone indicates a new voicemail message
To access your Voicemail, press the messages button on your phone, enter password followed by the # key.
Everyones default password is 1234.

To record voicemail greetings, press the messages button on your phone, enter password followed by the # key, press 0 for mailbox options and follow the audio prompts.  All users should at least record their name.

To access your Voicemail from any phone, dial *7, enter your mailbox number, then your password.  Also available when dial into the auto attendant from outside.

Call Transfer to Extension
When an incoming call comes in and you want to transfer the call to another extension, there are 3 ways to accomplish this:

1. Press the # key, you will hear the PBX say (TRANSFER), enter the extension and hit the # key again, the call will be transferred to the new extension.

2. Press the transfer button, enter the extension and press the transfer button again, the call will be transferred to the new extension.

3. On the Linksys 962 with the Sidecar, while on a call, just push the sidecar key for the person you want to transfer to and the call will transfer.

Outbound calls transfers are not permitted at this time.

Call Transfer to Voicemail
When an incoming call comes in and you want to transfer the call to a voicemail box, there are 2 ways to accomplish this:

1. Press # and then dial *8XXXX, where XXXX is the 4 digits of the persons extension, like exten 1027, to send call straight to this voicemail, dial #*81027#.

2. Press the blind-transfer button on the phone then enter *8XXXX, where XXXX is the 4 digits of the persons extension, like exten 1027, to send call straight to this voicemail, dial *81027 then press the send or dial button.

Dial outbound calls
There is no need to dial a 9 for an outside line, just dial 10 digit number for local calls and press dial or send.
For long distance, dial 1 plus the 10 digit number.  You will be asked for a password, enter your 4 digit password followed by the pound sign.
411 or information call will also require a password.

Paging
Phone-to-phone paging, dial * plus the 4 digit extension, like *1027, this will activate the speakerphone on the extension you dialed.

Do Not Disturb
Press the DND button on the handset, all calls to your extension will go straight to Voice Mail

Call Conferencing on Phone
While on a call, start a 3way conference by pressing the conf button on the phone, dial the new party and press the conf button again.

Local PBX Conference Bridge
Dial exten 7771 to access the conf bridge, this is for a single location.

Call Parking
While on a call, press # then dial 700.
The PBX will repeat back what extension the call is parked on, usually 701.
There are 20 parked call extensions, 701 through 720.
Call or page the person who should pickup the call and let them know they have a call waiting on exten 701 (or whatever extension the call was parked on).
The parked caller will listen to music-on-hold for 2 minutes and then the call will be transferred back to the exten that originally put the call on hold.
To pickup a parked call, simply dial exten 701(or whatever exten the call was parked on).

Call Waiting
When on a call, a new call comes in, the CallerID will be displayed, you will have these options:
Answer the new call, This will put the current caller on hold
Reject the new call, will send the caller straight to voicemail
Let it ring, caller will go to voicemail after 4 rings

Call Forward
On the phone, press “forward”, this will bring up a menu for line options, select the line and edit the contact with the number you want to forward the extension to, then enable the forward option.
